Caseware - Missing Excel Addin
ISSUE:
- Error linking TB to Excel files
- #NAME? error in linked excel file
RESOLUTION:
Manually locate and attach the CaseWare Connector UDF addin
- Close ALL instances and Excel
- Open Excel
- Select File > Options > Add-ins > Manage > Excel Add-ins > Go
- If you do not see CaseWare Connector UDF follow the next steps
- Select Browse
- Copy this path C:\Program Files (x86)\Caseware Connector and paste it in the Path field as shown below
- Click to select the file named CWConnector.xll > Select OK
- Once the CaseWare Connector UDF shows in the window above, select OK
- After selecting the add-in, the formulas should start to connect and show up properly
- You may need to select Add-ins > Tools > Re-calculate in order to re-initialize the formulas
